BikeGenie Posted January 9, 2023 Share How do you store your bike’s dropper post after a ride? I’ve been advised by a medical professional, whom I won’t mention, to store my bike with it’s dropper post in the upright and erect position. We all know professional opinions count for nothing on forums, hence me asking the panel of keyboard specialists/experts to please inform me/us with the correct way to solve the above mentioned issue. Disclamer, @v18 prefers to remain unanimous. TheoG and Nico van Loggerenberg

V18 Posted January 9, 2023 Share Opposite of priapism advice. When not fully erect after 3 hours of trying to get it up... Consult your local @droo. But ja. Store with gas chamber in least pressurised state. Therefore, erect. Also reduces chances of accidental tug and negative pressure over air/oil seal. What are talking about here? DieselnDust Posted January 10, 2023 Share A fully functioning dropper should always be stored in the upright position to prevent damage to the pipes and seals

Pieter1 Posted January 11, 2023 Share I consider myself quite proficient at stuff and I store mine half way up or halfway down. The main reason is I ride a 27.5er and it is kind of half way so that is my running theme. My rear tire is currently deflated and my front is at 25psi so technically my tires are at 12.5psi. Half half balances things out. Sorry halfway through this I forgot what I was on about. Fred van Vlaanderen, MrJacques, V18 and 1 other
