Are you on an ebike?

On both bikes, she could not keep up.  I am now on an ebike, which has just added to it.  Anyways, this should not matter.  She wants an ebike, at R50k any suggestions?

I see all the clowns are out today, lol

You will get clown answers if your query is specific as pair of oversize shoes.

what sort of distances are you doing, speeds?

surface, do you need a FS?

how fit is your bokkie, does she need a little electric push or open throttle?

will she ride it elsewhere too?

and many more. otherwise we can't really help you as there are loads of options.

Going to struggle at R50k.

Road or MTB?

I say, marry the girl.

Take a look at Giant/Liv offerings.

MTB

Cool, then just ask as you did.

40km was our longest ride.  25km/h or so

Mixed, road, gravel, single track, bike park

She is maybe average fitness.  No throttle needed, pedal assist only.

Possibly to work and back.

Must be MTB, not a road or gravel bike.

MTB

We have been looking at the Giant Stance as a in between bike for myself and wife.

She can keep up with me on my normal bike and I can keep up with my old training buddies, since my training is lacking.

Our house is not finished, the same money can fix a room very nice.

My LBS has sold a few Titan Racing bikes, still need to look at what it offers, but they moved a few.

I am on the titan racing charge 2 which is fine for me, but she wants to splash out a bit more.

Seeing what E-bikes are going for these days I have a sneaky suspicion your budget is not going to be getting you much for that amount, or if it does you could end up spending more on repairs or parts?
