Hoping everyone is good!

Was travelling back to CPT on Sunday Evening, early hours of Monday Morning, and I have to say that having driven in some very very hairy conditions, that weather came close to topping the list.

I can understand why the destruction is as bad as it is in places...
Thoughts to those affected by this disaster!

How far did you go? This route eventually becomes a gravel ride after the rains 🫣

Yassis bru, The bike needed a Fard Ghusl after todays ride. 🥲

That looks like one of our covid 6-9am 5km from home routes lol! (until 5km became 10 and 15 and included coffee in Stellies)

How far is that area from Pinelands, the Southern Suburbs and then say Stellenbosch and Somerset West? #askingforavaalie

I'd say roughly 30km from Durbanville to Stellies, 45km to Somerset West and 25km to Pinelands - all depends which route you take

That pic at BOK is just about the 5km radius line ...

RULE #56 // Espresso or macchiato only.
When wearing cycling kit and enjoying a pre or post ride coffee, it is only appropriate to drink espresso or macchiato. If the word soy/skim latte is heard to be used by a member wearing cycling apparel, then that person must be ceremonially beaten with Co2 canisters or mini pumps by others within the community.
