Parked in the town - at the FNB (the only bank in the town). It is safe - well we didn't encounter anything!

It was pretty hot.

Hot ride + long ride + being chased on a dirt road by dogs.... awesome ride

My Grandad use to live there before he died 2years ago. His house at the corner on 7th street opposit the church. The route looks rally nice.

And there's quite handily a hospital near the bottom. On the opening weekend for the trails, we carried three people off the mountain.

Went to Sabie for the weekend... short rides, but climbing like MAD!!!

I have been off my bike for almost two weeks now (except for riding the Babba's lodge 12km - coming 7th overall) - here's part of t reason :

Baby Petro was born last week Monday at 32 weeks, wife had complications etc etc, both are doing fine at the moment.

 

Other part of the reason is I've been told I've got high blood pressure (200 over 100) last week lol. Doc didn't want to listen to me that it was because of DRIVING and NOT CYCLING for the week before Things are tight at work (main client is wanting to reduce fees) and at home (wife/baby) so not much riding getting done.
