Was my first ride back at Northern Farm after breaking my wrist there 6 weeks ago! Did most of the red route and conquered 'wrist breaker mound'!

......and where is wrist breaker mound?

Quite stupid really Empty. Just before the road leading to the water crossing ahead on the 1st pic. You come out of a short single track section that ends with a mound that takes you into that road.

Ok, I know exactly where you mean....accidents so often happen in the most arbitrary places!

Showed a couple hubbers, The Nerd and Flippa and their super sweet bikes, around VG this morning.
"Flippa'n" awesome ride!!
They drove 100km to get to VG ( and 100 back home) thanks for the effort guys and  for joining.

Back-to-back endurance rides (115 and 145km), plus another long one planned for Monday at SBR (another 145km).

 

Would be a lie if I said the legs don't hurt (a bit). Riding in a group doesn't always allow for a 100% endurance/tempo pace - but the social bit wins every time.

Not the best photo, but had an awesome day out at Paarl today on my OneTwenty  :clap:

would have loved to join you guys, but I was looking after the gremlin as my wife did a stupid little jog thing...
