Page has jumped the shark a bit there, and the mask as to who runs it seems to be slipping a little. We seem to have moved from good natured banter to all out vitriol and name calling. Also, not sure what they're hoping to achieve by swearing at the sponsors (who created a podium specifically for a silly amateur side-race) on instagram and in strava posts, but 🤷

Anyone who expected good natured banter was not paying attention in the previous years and by that I include the sponsors. They should have never gotten themselves involved in this.

Who says that is official? You can't just make an insta account about something and say it's official.

That is a meme account. There is a difference. There is no official account as far as I know. Only the accounts of the teams are official. Kotas existed before that account and it was very entertaining to follow and served a purpose of unifying the banter and being impartial. But I get the feeling the account was passed on to someone new or things have just morphed a bit in a new direction.

 

EDIT: Maybe its because I am actually from the North that I find things have turned a bit 🤣

Not actually interesting at all. This whole KOTAS has just become an annoyance now.

 

What was supposed to be just a friendly a bit of banter and fun has literally been killed off by trying to formalise it with podiums and crowns. Just getting boring now.
