I am a big Simon and Garfunkel fan, Sounds of Silence was probably their best LP ever but "The Boxer" to me anyway is a close second.

 

I was given a very snazzy Sony turntable and stack of LP's by an old friend recently. In between the LP's is an immaculate condition Concert in the Park.

I may have posted this before, I cant remember, but Ian Anderson is so Damn good it deserves a second mention. 

 

 

I went to his live show when he toured SA about 12 odd years ago, it was fabulous, the place was packed out with folks all with graying hair........and Ian delivered the goods as always,... the best showman in Rock in my opinion.

You are a lucky man, I have "Bridge over troubled water" on an LP still, but somehow in the moving it got warped a little, so upset.
