A long overdue post...

The Beast in all its long travel W2W filth!!! Beautiful!

Some nifty bits:

On One Summer Season

Fox Float RLC 150 TA

KS LEV 27.2 Dropper

WTB Single Duty rear hub

Blackspire ISCG tensioner

Charge Spoon saddle 

 

However soon to be bigger and geared!!!!

Shot, however too late DomP - go check the build on the Dreamy Long travel hardtail thread.... The Beast is getting meaner!

 

Dropper on a HT just makes so much sense, as well as allowing one to push harder on the DH

Lekker like a cracker. ....I need to go up to a 18t vs the 17t. .....At least until I get back down to the low 80kg Mark again....slogging 92kgs up the mountain is not pleasant

Finally finished my SS...

 

Looks good, hope you get lots of fun and safe miles on it :thumbup:

 

Just on a side note that is how to my mind a SS should be built, not every part newly specced and built by some master mechanic at a bike shop :devil:  (ueber thick flame suit on :ph34r: )

I can finally post to this thread... Now I just need to take it out for a proper ride (hope it does not rain too much tomorrow afternoon)

 

Best part about a single speed - weather conditions don't matter one bit!
