Gandalf Posted April 15, 2016 Share Thanks chaps, Ryanpmb has helped me work out what I want, he knows his stuff. I'll post pics once everything arrives. I'm looking for options on ss cranks. Any ideas? Paul cranks look great, but apparantly hard to come by.
Roneblack46 Posted April 15, 2016 Share Oval chainrings on a SS? Sacrilege! What next....hydraulic disc brakes? Shame on you! ????I think they call it "marginal gains"????
Monark Posted April 27, 2016 Share Right... the frame and fork (Singular makes stunning forks) have arrived at my local post office but I am in JHB for work so it has to wait for me to get home. *sigh* Hoping to build the bike on Friday morning. As usual, Chainworx in Durban will be doing the spanner throwing. Any tips on the EBB? Grease well before the initial build? Any specific grease? Lance Cruz Posted May 6, 2016 Share Love mine. Mongrel build, but these single speed things do a lot of life therapy for the self without much investment. Edited May 6, 2016 by Lance Cruz Monark, Hairy, RocknRolla and 4 others

Lance Cruz Posted May 6, 2016 Share "that's a nice bike" KZN classic indeed, and proudly RSA. Need to cut the steerer, though.

Lance Cruz Posted May 6, 2016 Share " I love that fork! Great build." Fox 36 on XC frame. Makes sense to the slightly mad amongst us. Others just stare. BaGearA
