  1. Three points:

It's not a random morning in the South. The title of the thread is misleading. It is an exciting time for cyclists of all sizes and shapes to get in some training for the Cape Town Cycle Tour, reputably the biggest timed cycling event on Mama Earth. Some cyclists are wise and experienced and uphold consideration for other road users. Some are not so wise and experienced and do some silly things.

The trouble with virtue signalling on social media, especially with regard to cyclists vs motorists, is that it incites the bitterness and impatience in those 2-3 ton fast moving metal objects that can kill someone's father, brother, sister or child. We all know that all road users, whether in England, Australia or the Cape Peninsula in summer, have work to do with care and responsibility towards 'the other'.

I imagine that the FaceBook poster meant well and had good intentions. I will not attach my professional brand to such a contentious and complicated matter.

Be safe out there on the roads, cyclists. The world is rushed and intense and many people do not have the grace and patience.

    Lekka lekka @Phillippe Coetzee

Style Man, the authority on the customs and fashion etiquette in cycling strongly recommends:

    1. Place arms of sunnies over helmet straps. There is also an aerodynamic advantage to not having straps flap in the wind.

    2. Neatly tuck in the strap under your chin for a smoove look out there.

    3. Either totally unzip your jersey when your radiator needs more air intake and look like you worked very hard out there or keep it zipped right to the top.

    Eksê keep on going.

  3. No tandem outing for me and Jonah this year.

He is navigating a new school environment, going for hip-hop classes on Saturdays and my workflow is quite high. I didn't roll the Argus in 2023 as I was in SwissLand and Germany with work. So, I will be in the chute doing my thing.

Where did you score the MAAP kit brother???

I travel overseas a few times per year @Ozzie NL or have friends that bring it along from their overseas destinations.

This taupe coloured long sleeve summer jersey is a product sold by Sigma Sports. Not available in SA.

    LOVE my bike.
Bike is a little more stiff than the previous Evo ed3.
    Integration works just fine.

I know the local importers do have stock of limited sizes in this color at the moment.  You should ask your LBS to find out what is available.

WRT powermeter, I have opted for the Power2Max.

I enjoyed the Gen 3 - I will roll the dice and ask around, maybe I am a 52cm all along and I just been riding a 54cm by mistake...

You'd be the right size currently at 54 cm, B.

The size specifications for Dale road bikes are 51 cm / Small-Medium and then 54 cm / Medium.

The last few mornings after that lekka afternoon storm on Monday has just been so stunning. I went to pomp my mossels in gym this morning and, after two hard training sessions on Monday and Tuesday, had to sadly leave my bikes alone.
