  1. Rough mate - real ruff! Lets hope he enjoys traffic free riding in the skyes! Ride In Peace mate
  2. Nice one crank bro!!!!! Apparently it has something to do with the fact that the hamstring especially, never fully extends trough the movement. That`s all I know
  3. Someone will ask you to post a pic of yourself so they can decide. Not Uncle Chopper here, as Mrs Chopper will dish out a P.K. or 2
  4. There is two sides to this: 1. Chris or Chris Jr sould have arranged for all of this to be done. Maybe they did request the work to be done but the Mech forgot/ran out of time - bad time management. 2. Gice CWC a change to fix their stuff-up! The measure of a man is not in the mistakes he makes but in the steps he takes to rectify them. Give them a call! Give them a opperunity to right the wrong - and yes there is wrong here! 3. Dont bad mouth someone before contacting them first - Im sure this wasn`t done on purpose but purely out of forgetfullness. CWC does a lot for the local scene and by all the other good comments I take it they really take pride in what they do. My guess - this one just slipped by. Let us know what CWC says - should be a clear indicator of how commited they are to cycling. Just my 5c
  5. Never heard of Titan(?)before. Where did you get them and what were they going for?
  6. If you have to choose - ralph on the front. Both of these tyres are "more" rear tyre orientated. The Ralph will have more grip than the race king. I would however recommend you get a more aggressive front tyre if you want to do more that just cruizing as you will need more grip. Recommend Geax Suggaro/Conti Mountain king/Shwalbe Nic - type Good luck
  7. Valid point - if true! This deal went south but with the limited info that I have - I dont reconn it was intended. Bad luck of the draw between someone who didnt know what to look for and someone who only looked later. Lets write this one up to bad luck and call it a day. **** happens - no need to throw it around gents. Just my 5c
  8. Polar 720i or RX800 Only one`s I have ever used. Cant comment on Garmin/Suunto ect
  9. Normally a smaller tyre 1.8/1.9 will be for mud riding. Higher pressure to cut trough the top sludge and get grip on the hard pack below. I ride 2.4 front - more grip - 2.2 rear - higher volume/softer ride Most guys go 2.2 front 2.0 rear - depends on terain/frame clearance/skill lever ect. Personal choice
  10. It has to do with both width & size. It generally tells the witdth of the tyre in inches. However you will find that not all 2.2 tyres are the same width. Also - 2.4 tyre has a bigger volume. Here is an example: Bakkie tyre 205/75/15 205 - width of tyre in cm 75 - % of width that stands out above the rim - thus low profiles are 55 or 45 15 - size of rim in inches Back to MTB 2.2 - width in inches - thus 2.2/65/26 2.4 - width in inches - but 2.4/80/26 The wider the tyre the bugger the volume - fatter tyre from the side - more cussioning - softer ride. PS bigger tyres also need lower pressure to run - better grip!
  11. Nice one - Tjop! I`ll keep any eye out dude!
  12. Find someone with an entry - let him come in for a chech up - tell him he has Coxsakie and must lay-off - take his entry in exchange for the price of his blood test - then once the race is done tell him he has miraculesly cured - looks like you caught it just in time!!! You walk away the Hero!
  13. 26" HT - Kwela/Meteore type XT or X9 should do well
  14. The USN - Dylan Victor race is on theer this weekend if you want to come take a look. It wont run only in Voortrekker Monument but it will showcase waht is on offer at the venue. Should be good fun - 50km & 25km - Plenty of climbing!!
  15. Paul Bunion? Im guessing Paul cause anyone with a blue ox as his best mate can do anything!!!
  16. Wheels are going on the Zula, right!
  17. Option 2 or 3 for MTB!
  18. Bicicletta & Adrenaline Cycles Cant go wrong with these blokes - in it for the love of cycling
  19. Here we can learn something from the FIFA/IM book. Make sure you can deliver - if not, there will be financial implication!!!! This will discourgage "fly-by-night" orgenizers. Get everyone involved and plan months/years in advance, that way you can have small businesses/schools/clubs setting up propper service/product pionts to service the crowd and make money!!! Turn it into a festival type deal and capitalize on the oppertunity. Chedar in hand is much better than egg on face. This is not a part time gig people - dont treat it like a bridge club!
  20. I got the Rudy Still worth every cent
  21. Im with you one that Stewie/MJ Plus - I find it very rewarding!!!
  22. It is strange - maybe his sponsership does not cover TT Then again, he is multiple Xterra World champ - angents will kill for that kind of exposure - especially if he is on for a win! Would love to see what he does! Big gear - no fear!!!
  23. Rudy also has crash replacement - same gig. Haven`t had the Bell - but must agree with Dieter on comfy!
  24. Cycle Art should be able to do this. 016 590 1146
