  4. Rudy Project is nearly prostituting their helmets to try and get a bigger foot hold in the market - Zuma R 700.00/Sterling R 1400.00 Cant really beat that can you?

  9. If she`s short - try a Womans specific like GT/Merida/Spec/Trek. Otherwise maybe look at something with a non-race geomitry. Ladies dont appreciate sloppy seconds as much as a bright & shiny. Second hand will make her happy - new, she will show her appreciation in other ways! Trust uncle Vinny on this one!
  10. Ritchey WCS - no flex and light. I`ve done some silly things on them with no problem
  11. Wait untill the day that someone hands you a Mongoose Meteore and says : Give this a shot on that tight technical single track climb!
  12. 13. You only get up at 08:00 - that is awasome! Would love to see a graph for gaming or getting some leg-over, that should be funny. Cool excersize!
  14. Call Grant at Adrenaline cycles - 033-3307788 - He da man!!!!
  15. Sagauro Front - Mezcal/Barro race/aka Back. Its like the uzzi of tyres - when you absolutely, possotively have to make it through whatever comes you way - accept no substitute!!!! GEAX
  16. Somehow the mixture you used reactedto each other gausing gas to be realeased. This would mean that your tyre pressure went form 3 bar to 4bar wihic is too much for most UST tyres. First off I would recomend changing tyres to Swhalbe/Conti/Geax/Maxxis but also chech you bead just in case. Personal opinion - never pump UST tyres more than 2.5 bar. I ride 1.8 front - 2.0 rear and I`m not the smallest lad round town. Dont go crazy with tyre pressures - it will go bang!
  17. Will they have pressure wings on the back of their saddles for more "down force"
  18. Did they propose a peleton or accelon? Go Burry!! MTB`ers dont always do it rubber side down!!! Get in there like a bear!!!!! Never underestimate the power of silly people in large numbers!!!!
  19. How about 15 stages - 2 rest days - opening TT - 4 X hilltop finishes(Where?) - Team TT - 1 Criteruim style day - TT. Run most stages in DBL loop to increase spectator/sponsor value. Use the whole country - Cape/Gauteng/Mpumalanga/KZN ect. Get this tour going out to every province - 2 stages per province I agree that it might needs to be run privately. Could really be great
  20. Just remember to use waterproof grease. Nomal or even high temp grease will not do well for MTB or road bikes. Marine grease is thinner and thus works better.
  21. Im putting some on now - Saguaro/Mezcal front and Aka/Mezcal/Barro Mountain back. The Aka aint great in the wet but superb in the dry. The Saguaro is grippier in the front than the Mezcal but if you`re not a super aggresive rider on your front wheel you could use a mezcal up front. Mezcal sticks in the corners but fast rolling on the flats. The barro mountain is fast on the rear and better in the wet than the Aka but the Aka is faster in the dry. They should go for around R 500 in most shops. As for lifetime - prob the same as a Crossmark and that says a lot. One of the stronger sidewalls out there - as far as I can tell. Hope this helps
  22. My telepathy is off - so tell me where you are.
  23. Try Ftech - www.asgsport.co.za
  24. Most cycle shops would have some options om womans shoes. Let her try on as many different shoes as possible to make sure she gets the right one. A partner that cycles with you is priceless!
  25. The new Fulcrum`s would look the tits on that!!!!
