He said he had two POC Tempor helmets for me, these are some of the rarest tt helmets available. I offered him 500 but he wouldn't do less than 700. Bummer.
Did you also do around the pot?

I made the mistake of washing it with some white kit I have. Whoops. Rookie error
Love listening to Friebe on The Cycling Podcast. I have no doubt it is an excellent read and I have been waiting to get my hands on it since they did an episode introducing the book

I think everything was out by the next day & redness is beginning to fade away now.
I wonder how the guy I saw go otb and crack a collarbone or shoulder is doing... Was that steep descent with a puddle at the bottom that had a line right of it, he smacked straight into a telephone pole.
I am still fishing the mud out of my ears.
I am stoked that I was not on the bike path today, some oke was SENDING IT down today through the curvy section. Climbing at 15kmh and him descending at 40kmh would not have ended well for either of us.

Depends how good your dental insurance is
you will have to speak to the mayor, @Wayne pudding Mol. But you are in for a treat... Road bike, gravel, or mtb?

Is it not a mass start event?
Scored an entry so now the hunt for accom is on!

Life will change a fair bit, but I have a good support system and look forward to spending more time playing guitar and shaping surfboards and focussing on work and home a bit more.
Get well soon. Enjoy the rest and the change of pace and you will be back far sooner than you think, and probably stronger too Keep well

Mostly because I am quite apprehensive about selling it actually... It needs a good home. Such a lekker bike.
Lekker thanks for the help guys!

Maybe take the wheel to CWC and check if it fits?
I will do so. But shipping it might even be cheaper than driving... lol
There’s an enve wheel on the hub with the freehub body I am looking for… but I can’t shell out 12k for a freehub or a rim brake rear wheel I don’t need.

Yep this one. The xdr is sram’s 12 speed freehub body for road so you can fit a 10t on the end of the freehub body (not sure why they couldn’t stick with regular xd like mountain bikes, it’s a little bit longer), and to complicate life in general for me and many others. I have a friend looking for an xdr for Easton hub haha.
I called and they were very quick to confirm they don’t have ANY ENVE freehubs… despite having the campag one on the website. So back to the drawing board. I know you can run 11 speed Shimano with 11 speed campag as a compromise so that plan is now out the window too.

Also they have a massive collection of obscure parts dating back to the invention of the wheel.
Thanks so much. Appreciated.
that sounds like a lot for the carbon repair IMO, judging by prices I have heard from other repairs. It really depends on the extent of the damage but I do think it takes away a lot of value. Personally I would be quite happy riding a repaired frame but it definitely harms resale a bit.
If you do get the insurance pay out, surely they claim the frame and you can maybe buy it back as salvage, but there is no point repairing it before as you are just fixing their property?
