  1. NOw you can't even email him and theres no number...
  2. I notice todays date, but it sounds more like a article written in 2001... "The majority of Zimbabwe's 4,500 white commercial farmers are of British origin. Their families have lived off the land throughout the past century, helping to build what was until recently one of Africa's strongest economies" Until recently they say?
  3. I think the rims are the thing you should keep in mind when asking whether strong enough. the standard rims are usually pretty strong, but quite heavy. Which wheels does it come with? Edit: took too long to type... they beat me to it.
  4. The rain will start soon... no need for a shower. No helpful answer available...
  5. Hoƫrskool. Anders konfuse jy ons dutchies.
  6. The hell is that??? And, no De Kelder is far from koeberg. It's past Stanford on your way to Gansbaai.
  7. Lazer beams projecting a couple meters in front of the cyclist; to the side and sommer behind him also. Like a big red triangle with a bicycle in it shining on the road. Big enough for drivers to see in the road. Flashing maybe. Edit: It's already invented though.
  8. Roadies are never chilled. Nowhere. Ever. Edit:
  9. Jonkershoek has a nice easy gravel road loop, with a lot of optional climbing and singletracks onto the mountains. The loop is fairly flat. Never been to Meerendal. Table mountain a lot of climbing. Tokai also a lot of climbing and technical.
  10. I've had my First Ascents for very long now. Time to get new ones. They were in the region of R200 if I'm not mistaken. Bought them about two years ago.
  11. Would also guess bob or oom h.
  12. Not riding single file?

    Epic 2015 entry

On the website it says R3500 for first time volunteer. R1000 if you are a returning volunteer. This includes your food and tented accomodation, t shirt, cap, buff, eating brekkie and dinner with the riders (pro's also)... nee dankie.
  14. Coffee everywhere... thanx, really.
  15. Exactly. Why not go to the source? They force the bodies to throw in a majority of black players in now. But invest some money in coaching the young kiddies (from everywhere). Imagine how many kids could be taught to play rugby/cricket/soccer/hockey/tennis with R246 mil.
  16. Surely the Sram carbon wheels are a tad more expensive than ZTR crests? No idea of what they go for though, compared to the roughly R7k of ZTR crests (depending on the hubs)... EDit: see now the Titan is hardtail.
  17. Good luck in da east... heard there's a new burger joint owned by a Hubber opening up soon...
  18. WORLD HEAD INJURY AWARENESS DAY TODAY! Wear helmet always.
  19. Yes, but is it immoral? One should be above the law, and be able to decide whether it is going to be more convenient for oneself to change lanes without signalling...
  20. Off-topic, but you can use the "reply" or "multiquote" options so that you do not have to copy and paste every time you want to quote what someone posted in order to organize your replies. Makes posting easier for you if you get to know how to use this function, and makes life easier for us slightly slow people with burnedt out brains by midday on a Monday, when we can read the quoted parts in blue quote brackets. Apologies for the off-topicness of my reply. But thought I'd help you get to know TheHubSa's smart functions as you are fairly new. Welcome. *spelling
  21. I think Sauser might be there as well if I'm not mistaken...
  22. Pop into Neil's Wheels and all the cash crusaders/pawn shops in the area. Worth a try...
  23. Bad luck. Where in Cape Town did you hand over the bike. Did you get the guy's name/ID no at least; if so maybe open case. Will keep a lookout. Maybe a description of the person will help...
