Endura Humvee must be one of the best. I have a very old one and 2 fox shorts. I hardly wear the fox shorts as the always slipping down, and the poorly constructed internal velcro built is utter crap. I recently ordered another humvee and am over the moon..

Galfer pads and discs apparently improves your brakes. I have not tried them, but so I have been told.

I have seen it along with an article. Will try and find the link. However the journalist points on the on board camera how little max turns his wheel to try and make the corner. Then from an outside angle he shows that max actually cutting across lewis in no attempt to make the corner.

What a dick. Cant say I have seen any posts by a user with that name.

I am also a late starter to mtb. I only recently started to doing proper jumps and gaps, but have called a big No on some features. I ride to enjoy myself, not break myself. As for high speed smooth trails, they are more dangerous than trails with jumps. I always watch wit amazement how fast guys descend jeep tracks to avoid single track. Jeep tracks have lots of loose rocks, ruts and the odd speedbump. Riding a single track can be slower than descending via the jeep track. Coming off at speed has some serious consequences where as landing short of a jump not really. I did not mind the hospital food on the various occasions I was visiting due to some mtb injury. I hate when they have to wake you at 4 in the morning for shift change to take your vitals and give you meds.

I have also become a fan of bikeshield. When you remove it, it leaves no residue. What I like the most is the fact that the edges doesnt lift after time.

I hear you, rocks is a hard one to get around. Most trails have them. Jumps all have chicken runs. Not every trail is gonna be as smooth as butter, so learning to ride rough stuff is important

Yes. Just recently some one I know who is trying to progress, does not want to ride certain trails, for fear of falling/crashing. This is due to there being too many rocks and too many jumps.

Give Cape Rubber Mouldings a try. You most likely will find something suitable

We have been seeing this in our industry for the last few years now. It applies to all markets and its a major ẛṻӃ Up. That and the growing hatred for chinese imports/made products. However the amount of products produced elsewhere is so limited. I am currently looking at local manufacturing for certain stock items. If I had the resources I would start my own factory. There is some support out there for locally made goods.

This is an ongoing problem. Even though the trails are marked, you will still get runners running up or down the trails ( snakes, bridal, DH lines, all of them). Tokai MTB is aware but in their defence it is hard for them to police it. Take photos next time and post it on tokaimtb facebook page. I have no patience with this type of behaviour from trail runners. I could go cycle trails near to my house, but then I must contend with hikers and runners. I go to tokai to avoid that. Maybe some of the trails behind the chain gates can be turned into running trails. If its a possibility.
