  1. You'll definitely get better advice on the hub than from your cardiologist. Hubbers know everything.
  2. Will be there trying to get my mojo back. Will unfortunately be limited to the shorter routes.
  3. Have a couple of buffs but they dont work so well in the heat. Nice when they are a bit moist and the breeze blows through but hot as anything when they are still dry. And I cant bring myself to put a wet buff on before the ride.
  4. Found this a while back. Widgit.com.au How would it compare?
  5. Sylvasun equivalent is now sold under a different name. Not sure what it is called though. My benchmark for sun stuff is if its CANSA approved. Have a look at their website for their list. As for in your eyes, dont put sunblock on your forehead. Do cheeks, under eyes. Having said that, I'm not sure what I'm going to do when I start riding. Losing all my hair presents challenges. Can just see the vent holes of my helmet burned onto my pip.
  6. Mtb? Took bikes there a few years back. Riding was not too exciting and seriously sandy. Not worth it judging by the risky camping. We stayed in town.
  7. And when it doesnt rain its so hot you wish it did. Great riding either way.
  8. International Trade stock the Hope hoses. Great stuff. Call them.
  9. Yeti make or used to make a xs asr-sl. They were often pink. Maybe give the guys at Morningside a call.
  10. Cycling does need a kick in the arm and a shot in the pants.
  11. Agreed, but a 10kg camera is a different ballgame to a cable that needs to support a person. You seen the zip line at Sun City?
  12. Since I bought my Nespresso machine my Russell Hobbs stands on the counter unused. If anyone is keen they can have it for R700.00. Practically brand new.
  13. The AOA trails are brilliant. If you find your Mweni rides are not up to scratch I would recommend the short (?) drive to ride there. Awesome groomed singletrack.
  14. Have you tried the same sections on a 26 er again?
  15. If you are buying new tyres get as narrow as possible if you are anticipating mud.
  16. That camera can't weigh much. Once cable is tensioned not too much load. Great idea though. Also impressed with those ipad oprated 4 rotor copter type things.
  17. Any feedback on the Bryton mounts?
  18. Horizontal dropouts? How u going to run gears?
  19. Glad it helps. I've only been using it a couple of days and use it in a fruit smoothie. Will see if it helps my general wellbeing and uplifts my immune system.
  20. Has anyone out there taken Kefir for any length of time? I am cultivating my own stock after being given some by a fellow chemo patient. I do believe that probiotic populations are important and hope that this stuff can help. There is a lot of material online on the benefits of Kefir but this is the same for many things such as ozone therapy, vitamins, cannabis, and many more. Wondering if anyone has first hand knowledge of Kefir's benefits. Any comments on probiotics and other inner body bugs and immune system nunus are welcome.
  21. Pump your shock way up.
  22. Compromised immune system shows a lower white blodd cell count. I had similar symptoms a couple of months back although not after strenuous exercise. Turned out it was septacaemia.
  23. I have ridden a lot with all 3. I favour the Times for their ease of use in mud and bulletproofness. I was not a fan of the shims on the Looks. Shimano are good, reliable and simple to use. You would however not go wrong with either of the 3.
  24. I have used one. Borrowed from a mate. Nice trailer, tough as nails. Will outlast a Venter. Not sure its worth the premium in price though.
