  1. Erm... it's a full face, and he's on a DH bike. What's so strange about that? As for the vest - standard black singlet / vest / wife-beater (ozzie slang for same)
  2. No, that's normal Spur pricing. The exception is the Beyond Burger at the same price as a double spur burger, which given the cost of the Beyond patties themselves isn't surprising.
  3. you're right, which is why I'm looking forward to trying it as a rear tyre. That gap isn't nearly as important there, and I'm not enjoying the DHR2 there at the moment.
  4. I see that they say fat causes diabetes, but I'm not sure if they're referring to dietary fat, or the fat on your body itself. The latter has been disproven, but fat people generally have a higher disposition towards T2d.... And yeah, the hormonal effect that fatty tissue has on satiety is definitely present. If they're referring to dietary fat intake, then yeah it's a bit contrary to what the data suggests.
  5. Enduro field was pretty standard between 23&28 if I remember correctly. There was a tech vid about it.
  6. This. The wider the base (distance between the beads) the stronger the structure will be, up to a point.
  7. 1 - yes, partially, but IMO they're more hassle and actually weigh more than a proper casing tyre would. 2 - yes. Most definitely. Fewer issue with aliens in your sealant, proper strength sidewalls and less squirm. DD / DH >>>>>>> Exo & insert. FAR tougher, no wobbling inserts in the tyres (a real thing, trust me) and it's far less likely to tear / cut than the exo. Also lower likelihood of flatting due to the extra material. This also protects the rim to an extent. Did I say stronger? 3: Wider rims provide a better & stronger support base for the tyre. Narrower rims wouldn't mitigate the dings, if anything they'd perpetuate them given the same riding style. 4 - you ride the HT differently. Less smash, more float. It makes a huge difference. Had the FOAMOs in 3 sets of tyres. Aggressor 2.3, Spaz Slaughter 2.6 & an Onza Citius. Took it out when I changed to stronger tyres and I haven't looked back.
  8. I'd honestly do the local thing. Speaking from experience, fit is radically different across the diff manufacturers and the last thing you wanna do is order what you think is your size, only for it to be too big / small.
  9. firstly, you're gonna get whacked on import duties if you ship clothing / shoes in to SA. Locally, five tens are between 2500 and 3000 depending on the source and type. Those ones you've linked to @ 1150 will be 1750 ex shipping once duties and VAT are included. Secondly, you can't use online international stores to compare against a local price, without also including the duties and VAT you'll have to pay. Unless you're getting your fam to bring them in, in which case you may need to pay import duties and VAT as well if they get held up at customs. Locally, all the shoes are about the same price, with Spaz 2fo's being the cheapest (I think) at 2,200. Locally, ION are cheaper than 5-10.
  10. Bahahahahahaha!!! That's funny.... Cos they're actually cheaper.
  11. Hahahahahahahaha... I have one, and I don't have a beard anymore, either.
  12. I eagerly await an EFT just to see if I can.... Challenge Accepted.
  13. It’d be nice, but not one cent of that goes back into the trails
  14. Nope. Again, random. Sometimes you'll see max 100, sometimes 300. Just like the old ones, where not every board had a diamond or a flight or a holiday etc.
  15. A guy at my school used to have a hoo-koo. LOVED that bike! STX-RC was the tits.
