I was looking at Jujitsu self defence training options in CT a while back and could only find competition orientated clubs. So, I would very interested. (and the missus) (A friend and his entire family do this in Belgium (not for competition but self defence), and it is freaky how quickly and with little effort he could bring me to my knees.)

I guess membership fees or event fees cover the 'clean' (& positive) test's lab work. (I really don't know) But I was not clear in my initial question - it was more around the man-hours around the admin after a 'positive' was found in the lab. I do agree it is a crazy amount of money for admin though. Lets say it was more reasonable in ZAR - my question is still, who should be responsible for the post lab work man-hour costs?

My first reaction was the same, but then I was wondering - who should carry the man-hour cost for your tests? Do you think it is fair that other UCI members sponsor it? Just for reference: I'm not a UCI member and don't read medicine labels when I'm sick. (Would probably test positive as well.)

Ditto for me - but only in the second red area (front). I also do the kneeling hip flexor stretch, but a variant where I do it in a doorframe and have the arm of the knelling knee stretched upward/backward holding the doorframe above my head. Do the trick for me.

I wonder if their was any communication between the two parties before the 2013 event - surely someone wont blatantly deny access for the event? One must ask the question - what went wrong in this stretch of land compared to the other 2400km? It is clear both parties was prepared though ...praat manne.

If you were not asked/notified/contacted by the organisers that people will traverse your property in 2013 - then I cant really fault your sentiment. Side note: The insurance issue is one I was wondering about from a SA perspective. Everywhere (a lot of places) in Ireland one had to cross private land with paths to get to the real mountains. (Unlike the UK where the paths is usually public) At these places the farmers erected a standard sign that they buy somewhere that state they are not responsible/required to help you during a accident etc. (But they probably would if you had aske them to cross their land ). I think I have one on a photo somewhere, but cant find it now.
