Love how off-trend this is. Unique, YOU.

I wouldn't say lazy. Simple yes. These, and other steel bikes like it..(starling etc) are mostly single pivot designs, and designed to be simple, low maintenance. It literally uses 6 bearings, 2 of which never needed replacing. So 4 bearings. Compare that to the 12 in my new plastic bike…
Hydration, yes I did ride with a pack on it haha. It had two bottle mounts. One on the bottom of top tube…bottle always fell out in the top considering where you ride these, and another set under the down tube close to the BB so you could get your bottle full of cow sh!t on the liaison! 😅
Tubes? Even a 26” will go in a 29” wheel with some effort.

It has made me stop riding between Banhoek conservancy and Boschendal even…

I’m out too after fracturing my wrist a few weeks ago. Hoped that it would be fine by now but it’s still sensitive.
Shouldnt have done another run down rhino 1 after falling and breaking it right? Haha. Felt fine at the time🤷🏻♂️
Have these people gotten hold of each other? @MTBAustria?
Theres obviously a case number. The people and serials are now all known. The seller, the people and now parent who bought the stolen goods and its also not so hard to get @CWC Online involved to share info once you let them know they’ve almost unknowingly been made part of a dodgy love triangle.

CPO = Cycling Prosecuting authority 😁
The sad part is that the CPO - a bunch of casual cycling forumers - has proven way more capable of finding/exposing fraud, skollies, dodgy deals than actual authorities in many instances….purely by intuition and black belt google-fu.

This.
reeks of being caught red handed dealing in stolen goods. If you know about taking bikes to CWC for a service, and know about ebike batteries being faulty, you also know that if you are buying a spez e-bike in Kylemore for 4.5k, you are buying stolen sh!t!
i hope people get taught some serious life lessons out of this…
Not gonna lie, i recently had a silly fall (broke my scaphoid), but i scratched my brand new oneup carbon bars across the front as they tucked and slid along the ground. The controls also all rotated on the bars.
i now trust them as much as politicians a month away from election day 🤣…

Looks like a pic from one of the business sellers on here. Thats the MO. Likely no bike at all…just want to lure naive people to dodgy locations and rob/attack them.
