Thanks, but I have a mother of a fan. I just have to adjust it to work. It was a little low.I can maybe hook you up with a working, used centrifugal fan. Will look around the workshop, drop me a whatsapp if you need one.

But that looks like something that can move huge volumes of air [emoji23]
I could only do 5km tonight. Started feeling very nauseous and dizzy. Guess my body will take some time to get with the program.
Thank you to every one for the support over the past two years. Some days have been bloody bad, but I have a mission and I can’t let everyone on Bikehub down! I have to win this!
Trainer collected. Little on the heavy side, but will be able to manage. Can't wait till the end of today... I wanna go and ride!!!
It is one of the bests of 2021 this far. We really enjoyed it, just because it was not the junk the USA pumps out these days
My wife loves her mushrooms. But mushrooms is a high risk food for me. I can tolerate a bit of mushrooms, but I tend to get very sick from it because it takes a bit longer to digest. So I run a risk of landing in the hospital with every bite. But I must say, you can't make a chicken pie without mushrooms.
The one driving force to stay with Apple in SA is the launch of Apple Pay. ABSA was keen to get me to connect my cards to my phone and watch, and the process was easy and without any trouble.Worth noting that it is not fair to compare the Venue with the Apple 6. Two totally different price points.
Though the real underlying issue seems to be the user interface between the different systems. AND how each links to the greater system at home.
On a lighter note .... Seems Apple people like seeing their progress in circles, while Android people are happy to see linear progress...
I saw the Garmin had the same idea but never loaded my card onto the Garmin.
I have been using the Apple watch since the launch of the Watch 2, the got the Watch 3 (and I am still using it now) and the Watch 6 that died on me. Reinet has the Watch SE and she is happy with it.
At the moment I will keep to the Apple Watch 3. Till I can do some homework and get to a place where I can compare the features and find a device in the same form factor. The large screen size is a problem. And the reason I do not wear my Casio G-Shock at all.
Made a purchase today that I hope I will not need to use soon... (but I needed it last month)
Got a 2nd hand wheelchair. I really hope I will not need a wheelchair, but I needed a wheelchair twice in the past year.
It is not the best chair on the market (Saturn Hercules) but I do follow the old boyscout saying of be prepared!
So may I never need the wheelchair. But at least if I loose all the skin on my feet again, I will be able to move at least.
ThanksThis is awesome!
Just make sure that it's fully compatible with your MTB- I originally purchased one of these from a certain CT bike shop after being told that it's fully compatible with my group set, only to find that my rear derailleur cage was too long. They told me to just use the bike in ERG mode and I told them to get stuffed and made them take it back.
They asked that I bring the Scott to the shop for them to make sure it will work with the trainer.
I am a bit sceptical about the gear ratio, but I have no idea how my body will react to being on the bike again, so I might dwell in the easier gears.
I got the Tacx Flux S Smart TrainerWhich one did you get, the tacx fluid s like the one posted earlier?
If you don’t mind me asking, how much did it cost
Was R12500.
CycleLab quoted R13999 for the same device, but they do not have stock in Pretoria. Garmin has the RRP as R12999 on their website. So I am glad that HotSpot Cycles had it on sale for R12500.
The Apple Rings of shame...
Not yet Sir.Did you get it Cois?
They should ave it by Wednesday morning. Went to pay for it this morning.
They only had a 11-50 10 speed sprocket. So might ask them to swap the cassette of the Scott... unless Zwift has some wicked hills.
Got a trainer. The bike shop that did not have stock will order me one. The shop is Hotspot Cycles in Pretoria. Will pay the trainer tomorrow.
I am addicted to the rings of shame. Think that is one thing that if Garmin had it, it would be an option for me
Okay, another bust. We show stock on our websites, but our website is wrong.
So the hunt continues
How can you do a structured workout if the thing can't do ERG mode?
Thanks. Now I know that little information as well. Will have to do a lot more homework on trainers and the terminology.
Was to late in any case to get the trainer. It has been sold.
I tried to do some reading on ERG mode, but it all is vague in what it does, so I am not sure if it is needed or not. And I could not find English videos on the trainer.I see that this trainer doesn't support ERG mode... not sure if this is NB for you or not.
Sorry for only replying now. Had a crap day at the office today.Would this be an option?

It would indeed be an option. Contacted the seller.
The problem is the curved screen. If it was a flat screen it would not have been a problem, but anything with a curved screen is an issue.Anything with a touchscreen is going to carry greater damage risk.
Same with the Apple watch, the curved screen made a screen protector an issue, so I got a watch protector that encased the complete watch.
Sadly I could not find a body / screen protector for the Garmin at all

I wanted to get on the trainer tonight, but I am one of the few lucky people that received a flu injection this morning. So I am a little drained.
But will do a session tomorrow night.
