  1. From the Healthy Gear Document pg 5: "When both the principal member and spouse on the Vitality Health programme have a qualifying Discovery Card and use it to pay for HealthyGear purchases, you will earn your boosted Vitality HealthyGear cash back with Discovery Bank on a maximum of R4 000 per month that you spend on HealthyGear items." https://www.discovery.co.za/discovery_coza/web/linked_content/pdfs/vitality/bank/healthygear_vitality_and_bank.pdf
  2. Rode Modders on Saturday and have to say that the general trail condition is excellent. The only gripe i have is the amount of walkers and runners that are using the bike trail instead of the walking/hiking trail causes a lot of stop/start and is eventually going to cause an accident when a fast cyclist is using the trail. Maybe they using the bike trail because it's in better condition than the other trails or maybe they just don't know about the walking/hiking trail. I think better signage would definitely go along way by marking out properly which is which. At the moment the only decent signage is for the bike trails in my opinion.
  3. Read a few of the comments as well. Maybe Taroko shouldn't have posted that they 100% ready on their FB page because they have left themselves open to some abuse now on trail maintenance. Let's give them the benefit of the doubt for a while longer and see what happens.
  4. Yoh.....but the Capetonians are active on here today!
  5. This option for a HT https://bikehub.co.za/classifieds/item/hardtail-mountain-bikes/403860/2015-bmc-teamelite-te01-29er
  6. You can actually use any type of trainer with a bike with a thru axle except you will need an adapter.
  7. I know it's stretching your budget but take a look at this on the Hub: https://bikehub.co.za/classifieds/item/dual-suspension-bikes/399937/giant-anthem-custom-rebuild The bike is in KZN but after lockdown you will be able to have it shipped. Pretty decent components and you can't go wrong with a Giant overall. Being a bike that is custom most likely means that the owner is really into riding and the bike will be well looked after.
  8. Have you checked the classifieds? Also you say you will upgrade the frame later.... you should rather get a better frame and upgrade your components later. Just saying
  9. From what i hear in the restrictions on level 4, i don't think so.
  10. i saw that as well. Weird online merchandising
  11. Sportsman's are not delivering indoor trainers https://www.sportsmanswarehouse.co.za/wahoo-kickr-snap-2-indoor-trainer-c1127083 Note: "Not available online"
  12. Looks like he did 80 odd k's on route and another 40k's on his trainer as there is zero elevation.
  13. Checked my Flybys and this must be the biggest loop for sure: https://www.strava.com/activities/3406120132 not sure about the elapsed time either
  14. maybe was the wrong time to sell...should have tried selling 2 weeks ago
  15. agreed but there must be a limit to the madness that some guys are asking for their IDT's
  16. I saw that and contacted him to make an offer which he declined saying he has major interest and my offer was too low. I mean a second hand Kickr 1 is roughly 5 years old so how much could it possibly be worth if it was used often? Let the bidding season begin!
  17. Remember the distributor has had to pay for the storage cost on the container for 5 weeks and most likely needs to make that cost back somehow? just my opinion
  18. I was sent an email yesterday from the sales team at Easybike indicating that price on the Tacx range of IDT's are going up on the 1st of May and that they currently have stock reserved for them at the old price.
  19. And what happens if you have a Garmin 2 speed and cadence? will i still need the Ant+ dongle for my ipad?
  20. Maybe change the title of your post to include products?
  21. I hear what you saying but the first sentence does give it away. I think "any product" might be bike brand
  22. Forgive my ignorance but is this post not a "Bike wishing well"? I see people asking for everything but bikes...
  23. MS Teams at the office because of the better bandwidth and then Zoom at home. WhatsApp and Skype aren’t bad but latency is always an issue with the quality of the connection.
