  1. Rouxenator - you don't live in Stellenbosch you exist there - you have never ridden Jonkers but you know all about the people who ride there. Get involved with Jonkers its on your doorstep.
  2. Just leave it I would say.
  3. Go to your nearest LBS ask them to scratch around in their scrap bin off a replaced casette.
  4. Could Trailmansam please identify himself - so far 5 posts Who are we dealing with (or am I missing something?)? Yes I know he says he is from TMM
  5. Can we have a reply from Scott? Anyone have a contact?
  6. OWN what you have! (Ride it like you own it)
  7. The clutch itself does not break but a little stainless steel bracket/clip and the clutch looses it's stiffness I suspect that is your problem - google is your friend - I will post a link when I find it
  8. Have you checked that the clutch is actually working - there is a clip that is known to break. About the grease - its the mechanical parts that do the work not the grease - we have done repairs and just used general purpose grease and all is well. Broken part was replaced by Shimano.
  9. So it's noob-picking day today - damn forgot it's Fryday
  10. I said "be wise" - gebruik jou kop I have bought stuff off the www after registering as a new member so 1st time poster. Kokki Venkatapattyraju very good friend of mine from Phakkistan and I won't woatch for him - definitely a suspect.
  11. Your assumption is wrong Just be wise Yes you are paranoid And no - no thread
  12. I respect landowner rights and don't support rogue riders
  13. And just as you buy then SLX's Sram comes out with their new Sram GUIDE's (which will replace the Elixir's) Something to behold http://reviews.mtbr.com/first-ride-sram-guide-brakes When you throw out the Elixir 5's can I have them please
  14. Just discovered a whole lot of rides - Great!!
  15. You might want to consider larger rotors on your brakes depending on what type of riding you do.
  16. In SA we are a bunch of arsestretchers with our heads in a hole. "It will NEVER work here!" Don't even think about it never-mind discuss it. Remember it is the spirit and not the letter of the law that really matters Bru - go read the national road act - it all applies plus some extra and in the Cape we got some extra by-laws.
  17. Nobody is saying "break the law" but the law could be changed like in Idaho

    Ignore

    Rained out!
  19. Have the Elixir 5's ever failed you?? If not just get the kit and service them yourself - yes can be done! I love it when guys trash Avids and sell them but they want ten arms and legs for them. Surely if they are that bad you should almost give them away.
  20. Go for a ride with him and enjoy. What kind of friend are you if you even ask!!
