  2. Just got mine too. In CL. Anyone else?
  3. Thanks to the organisers. Was a lekker race and I dig the new route (still don't love the long drag up to the finish line though ) BL started off very sedately with no-one really wanting to do any work. Got properly organised after about 10km and was mostly smooth sailing from there with quite a few guys willing to work. Little crash at around 90km, didn't look too serious but I hope no-one was injured. Basically the whole group turned into the finish straight together and I launched my attack far too early and got overtaken by a bunch of people 100-150m from the line. Still super happy with a sub-3. (Was also very surprised that I managed to hang with the group the whole way, and even do a turn or two on the front, after doing the MTB race the day before)
  4. Yup, MTB route. Poster before me asked about the MTB route so the link was to my Strava activity from last year.
  5. If it is the same route as last year: https://www.strava.com/activities/1249906972 Last year it was freezing and windy. Hopefully the weather will be a bit better this year.
  6. I'm preparing my excuses for why I got dropped by the group x km into the race
  7. Was a hard day out there on Saturday... A few f**knuts (mainly in cars) going the wrong way. Luckily they passed me while I was on my way up the hills (i.e. not much faster than walking pace ) Also my first double loop (Second time round was 25 minutes slower than my first . That said, I did a PB on the first loop so I was a bit knackered by the time I started the second)
  8. Yeah, they should totally be testing that stuff on poor orphans instead
  9. Starting at the Culinary Table in Lanseria at 7:30 this week.

    Who remembers?

First one I remember was Jurassic Park. I think I was about 8 and I convinced my dad to take me because I was super in to dinosaurs. I had nightmares for weeks afterwards though.
  12. Seems like I'm going to have to go see a bio to try get it sorted out. Thanks everyone
  13. For those of you who have sorted out ITB issues, how did you manage it? Mine's been an issue for months now
  14. I don't remember the wind being bad last year... Was much worse on the MTB the day before.
  15. 190cm on a Large, X-Large and XX-Large. really depends on the manufacturer and the geometry.
  16. Does anyone have a strava link or gpx of the XCO route?
  17. I assume it will be similar to the USN race there (although that was only a 50km) so this should give you an idea: https://www.strava.com/activities/1626426061 Not technical at all imo, a few drops, one or two short steep climbs, a few bermed corners and one or two curvy bits between trees are about the extent of the "technical" bits that I can remember.
  18. If it's the same route as last year, not very technical and not much climbing either. My Strava result from last year if you want a profile: https://www.strava.com/activities/1249906972
  19. Agreed, nothing I hate on a bike more than a head wind. Other than that, fun race. Bleak I missed a sub 3 by 2 minutes though
  20. Archer Season 9 now available on Netlfix
  21. Thanks. R85k give or take. Including a Garmin mount and spare derailleur hanger.
  22. IT HAS FINALLY ARRIVED!!!!!! So excited to give it a ride this weekend
  23. Heated pool. Chlorine pools chow wetsuits so unless you get a cheap one just for that I wouldn't recommend it.
  24. Look closely. He doesn't jump, just "lifts" his legs.
