But I can send a dxf to you... You welcome to add your own designs and signature .

And any laser cutter can cut them.

So I thought I'd finally add my SS project experience to the thread.

A mate and I decided we wanted SingleSpeeds. Decided to go with On-Ones. Ordered two frames. A few notes to anyone doing this:

  • Make sure both boxes get invoiced. My frame went to Germany for 2 weeks before coming to South Africa
  • Make sure you order the seatpost clamps... On-One Inbreds have a funny size clamp.
  • Order chain tugs! you will need them and you may as well get them with this purchase

We also ordered stems, seatposts, and bars from Chain Reaction, singlespeed wide base cogs, spacers and chains from Kiwi (www.rapide.co.za), cranks from Driveline (check out their catalogue at www.driveline.com.tw we dealt with Rebecca and despite the long wait we got some cool cranks for a very reasonable price) and the rest we chatted to the LBS (Morningside Cycles).

I've gotta say big thanks to the guys at Morningside, bought 2 and a half bikes from them now, and they really helped out with keeping the cost of the project down.

So what did I land up with?

On-One Inbred 29er SS Ltd

Suntour Epicon Fork

DT Switt Wheelsets (One set from a Scott 920, the other from a Scott 910)

Shimano Deore brakes (One set 596, one set 615)

Funn 90mm Stem

Funn 808 Flat Bars (so we can progressively cut down to size)

Da Bomb hellfire seatpost

Gusset half link chain

Driveline XTS crankset - I have the MA-100 too, but need a wider bottom bracket.

Spez FastTrak 2.2 Rear and GroundControl 2.3 Front

Hope you like the pics :) I'll try to get some better quality ones up soon (bike needs a clean)

I have a BB that looks like it would work with that crank Cat, forgot to check the measurements and codes ... will do that tonight and confirm tomorrow if it will work with your frame.

How did you split the frame to get the belt in? How do you then get the frame strong again or fix the gap as it will have to be there again when you want to fit a new belt

Not my frame, it's for a good friend of mine, he has had the frame for a year now, it's been boxed.

Fire Engine did the split :D the man is a genius.

The belt drive goodies took a while and we needed to get a custom built fork that is 1 and 1/8 th. steerer.

I will post some nice pics.
