Looks like daddy bought his kid a Merc and painted it pink.

What are those pods on the side of the air intake? Cameras? sensors?

Bar those pods, you right, the cars look identical.

Superficially very similar yes.

Front wing vanes differ, huge difference in sidepod air intake. Overhead air intake also smaller on RP for some reason, maybe rules required it due to those round thingies - because you'd obviously want to maximize that.

Can't even see the rear of the car or the barge board sections.

So Merc has a dodgy steering wheel. Nothing new about that.

My Golf 35 years ago had the same problem. I could pull the wheel backwards and forwards. Sometimes I turned left and the car went right.

I was watching that video of LH pushing and pulling the steering wheel and at first I couldn't really see what was going on but eventually after about the 50th time watching it I saw it. Talk about team sky marginal games.

Thing is they are adjusting ride height in the process which is illegal.

Yes the aero adjusts ride height, but that is allowed for within certain limits.

It is good to see boundaries being pushed but I bet this will be ruled out before Melbourne.......

That's because it does not "adjust" it, it alters ride-height by the way it works. And it's the same for all. Not manual adjustment. My view...

Still must look at this steering wheel thing over the weekend, did not have time when I saw it this morning - thanks Eskom...
