dirtman Posted June 9, 2015 Share Sorry to see the steep little climb being bypassed, although it should require less maintenance. Work on Fish Eagle is completed. See photo for the bypass of the steep little climb - that section now flows beautifully. Spare a thought for the trail builders who had to dig and move all that soil by hand. Also started with work on Protea Alley, but had to stop further work on other sections until it rains again. Wannabe, T-Bob and rugbyoke

mountain_lion Posted June 10, 2015 Share Great! Hope the trail has time to settle this time before being atacked by an event bringing riders who cannot stay on the trail.

dirtman Posted June 18, 2015 Share More maintenance was done this week after the rains - only sections that remain are the exit of Ribbok and then Rooikat, Geelslang and Mongoose. It is still too dry to work on the sections on the green route- hopefully they can be done after the rain forecasted for mid next week. The team also did some work on the rock garden on Lizard - see photo (click on photo to see the bypass on the right) . Riders now have the option to ride the rock garden or ride an easier option next to it. Edited June 18, 2015 by dirtman Wannabe

Thanks Dirtman A fast hard line (A) with a slower easier line (B) I understand, but a rock garden with a smooth bypass!?? Are the MTBers getting soft or what?
