My personal fave Graffiti artists are Mars and nomad. They have done some comissions for our company ( so I may be a little bias, and to see them work is special, specifically seeing the design process and the end result.)

 

Nomad's work is on the walls at Mad Giant brewery in Fox street, as well as two of SAB head offices.

And mars did some work in the sab offices as well as some of our other clients.

What makes graffiti special to call it art? It's average at best.

Because it’s “like kief bra” to like Banksy, if you dont call each and everyone of his pieces “AMAZING” you are ostracized to the corner of the room where they only serve Ricoffee and don’t have avo toast.

Some of the Banksy stuff is rather dull from a fine art point of view. But then it is usually very strong in concept or message!

 

(Also, keep in mind that there are many works out there that are not real Banksy ones, usually those are very light on the concept / message front.)

 

I'll go sit in the corner now, but there is no way in Hell I'll drink the Ricoffee!
