little rant for the day

 

When did "I will contact Joe Soap" become "I will reach out to Joe Soap" ? Or "Joe Soap reached out to me"?

 

FFS does nobody "get hold of..." or "contact...." anymore? Is this another of those corporate speakisms?

My most cringe-worthy phrase: "You got this"...WTAF. Got What? Aint got Sh#t. 

 

More appropriate would be: " I have faith in you trying to obtain this, and I am most certain you will succeed!!"

 

See, much better.. Ppl are so lazy to speak...

100% with you on this one. Irritating and meaningless or misleading in 90% of the situations it get used.
