How do you say no to this face

He first cried so that I would let him into the office..now if you have ever heard a beagle cry..it is the same as a toddler crying as if the world is going to end ...such a sad howl.

Bruce the Beagle.

We babysat a Beagle puppy during working hours (we both worked from home at the time) for a few weeks, somewhere last year.

Too much energy, too smart, too naughty....

We found her on the dining room table once, on her way to the kitchen counter where we prepare food. All the chairs were pushed in, so she had to have climbed on something else first, to jump over to the table...

I love her, but I don't miss her...

Lol.. sounds about right.

By far the naughtiest pup we've ever had. But an absolute gem..brilliant temperament..loves food and well loves everything and everyone.. fantastic family dog, loves his kids so much.

I thought this was a bit far fetched simply based on my (very prejudiced  ) view of what Beagles are for............then it turned out that I was right.........it seems to be a fake! :(

Now, if they used one of the retrievers it might actually have worked....... ;)

Ja nee.. a beagle may find something but he ain't going to give it back..[emoji2957][emoji2957].

Cold and wet does not phase my two Pekingese pups and my cat of unknown origin. Had to call them in from outside this morning, all three soaking wet from running around in the pouring rain. And this at 06h45 in the morning.

any how

So remember I mentioned that my son had saved to buy himself a German Shepherd.

Puppies were born and are now 4 weeks old, the breeder has already booked a male for my son, so he should be getting his pup in 4 weeks time

Of course the next 4 weeks we will get everything we need for pup, crate for night time and house training, play pen for during the day so that I can keep an eye on Enzo (my son has already chosen a name) during the morning, I will be babysitting and all helps that I now work from home and have tons of space in my office for a play pen and of course get all the other supplies he will need.. poor kid is going to be very broke.

So much excitement in my house while we wait for little Enzo's arrival.

Regarding training my son will do here and travel with the guidance of dad and tips from his gran and the videos he has been studying (if only we study that hard for school) and then up to jhb once a month to join in on their weekend training, unfortunately the club here is no more.

Again I say I would rather my son get involved in this than end up drinking in a pub and whatever else teenagers get up to.

Yep, had them my whole life and spent lots time getting dog hair off my clothes, couch and bed etc.

What I don't understand is I brush mine everyday, but after vacuuming the house the hair balls still appear like magic.

They shed throughout the year.. BUT when they shed that undercoat, oh man it is a job and a half

Those tufts on the top of the legs near the tail. A bugger to comb out.
