Personally, I came to the conclusion that I love both steel and Ti equally, a bit like my boys.

I've yet to ride a Ti bike that feels as good as steel. 

That said, maybe I have not ridden the right ti bikes

One day I'll look further into it

My boet's Colnago he took to New Zealand .... one of the few bikes in his 'quiver' he bothered to take!
