He will bankrupt you with his advice, but you will end up with a fine cup of coffee. Grebel and V12man

g.ren Posted August 31, 2017 Share Has anyone tried the Checkers single origin beans range?I know they have got some pretty impressive cuptasters involved, but buying my coffee beans from Checkers just doesn't feel... right.

stefmeister Posted September 1, 2017 Share The price on the Oscar is negotiable... Hey man PM me your bestest price. I'm actually saving my money for a Baratza sette 270w, and then later on a Rocket/Oscar 2, but might just be swayed otherwise in the mean time. Skylark Posted September 1, 2017 Share Has anyone tried the Checkers single origin beans range?I know they have got some pretty impressive cuptasters involved, but buying my coffee beans from Checkers just doesn't feel... right.I have bought the Guatemalan beans a few times and they were great relative to other store bought beans, price also good. Do keep an eye on the manufacturered/sell by date, they can sometimes sit on the shelves for a long time before you get there, not always but I have seen them pretty old before so I just took the freshest beans variety they had. g.ren
Frosty Posted September 1, 2017 Share That's another reason. I like cappucinos(little to no sugar) and my misses enjoys chai tea with frothed milk. Am currently using a manual milk frother(plunger style). Have looked into stand alone milk frothers and the decent ones are pricey. A decent grinder has been on the cards for a while, but would rather make a big purchase in the future on a machine that has everything included. Will look into an aeropress, IICR you or someone on here had issues with a "fake" one from takealot? Can I bring you a standalone frother? Give it a try, it takes 2:10 from start to finish. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Long Wheel Base
