i have reread this thread a couple of times.......don't have any coffee machines except a filter coffee maker , want to get my feet wet but very slowly at first !!! thanks for the suggestion

Grinder and an Aeropress would be my sugestion - unless you like milk with your drinks...

 

But a super auto will never go to waste - easy and quick and useful - my wife loves using it compared to a real machine (depite being coached for hours on the big one)

thanks i was thinking in that direction at first to play around a bit and then when i am a real coffee snob i will upgrade to bigger toys !!!!  :ph34r:  :ph34r:  :whistling:

Ok Aeropress on its way......now which Burr Grinder must i get (Remember i do have a budget...!! :w00t: )

Nespresso or espresso or espresto what to buy. I don't want to read all 60 pages just want to get one today and I'm not sure . I don't want to battle to get pods

Get a decent machine and Grinder. If you must have a super auto, then get a Jura.

A relatively cheap machine option, barring the pods that is, because you might well get tired of it and want to move on to a proper machine. I would stay away from this Esprito machines. Coffee is not good at all!

You can always start off with an aeropress as well, its what i started with and still use it sometimes. When i travel i always take it with me, in combination with a small manual grinder
