Jura, Siemens, Bosch, carimali all come to mind.

The quality of support available locally is important.

I would add Isomac to that list. Great after sales service too.

True - but they don't make a super-auto - at least not so far as I have found.

Ja, I didn't concentrate properly there - missed the Super Auto bit.  I think you are right. The closest they get is sort of semi-auto.

That said, Saeco make quite a decent super-auto.

Nice HappyMartin, sure you are going to enjoy that! Also stuck with a decision, or is it a decision. Getting my back up (back up for work) San Marco single head back from refurbishing, plumbing is all ready to go from a previously installe La Cimbali which unfortunately died. So do I mothball my Saeco?

Or do you sell Mpati. That's the question

Side note for you. I climbed Mpati for the first time when I was 9. Lived on the side of it. Catteral road I think it was. Used to race down the dongas in the blue gum trees on our bikes.

I have a similar thing. Have a buyer for my Oscar but tempted to keep it. Take it to work perhaps.

Have 2 Wega's and a bigger San Marco at work so maybe will make it my camping machine, but at least the kids can operate the Saeco so will probably keep it as it is user friendly.

We have now built a lot of trail all the way up the mountain, about 30km worth, very nice with some good technical bits

Ah OK. I think you need to take the aeropress. Do you have a hand grinder yet?

I'm looking to buy a coffee making machine but don't know much about them.Could anyone please give me some advice on brands and what I should look out for in terms of their offering.

Ideally I want a "foamer" included and obviously one that can change the strength of the coffee.

My budget would be around R2500.

go have a look at Nespresso machines , easy to use , foamer included , different coffee options , easy to clean and maintain and spot on in your budget
