My Stage Max cost so far:

New kitchen R120000

New appliances R20000

Building alterations R30000

Paint R5000

New flooring R36000

Apple Ipad Mini R8000

So think again if any of you feel the R90k price for the bike is excessive!

One of the best posts I've read. Beautiful.

Not to worry.

My build has also now expanded to include new brakes for my wive's bike... Sram Guide RSC's with new Centreline Rotors, new Jagwire Hydraulic brake line.

Sure it's not the end of it.

What are the advantages / disadvantages of the 120 over the 110. Been after a 110 for a while now but am tempted by 120. I am currently on a 29er Trance and have tried the 650 version and didn't like that (must be the only one like that). But the 120 does tick a lot of boxes ????

Carbon frames haven't landed yet. The Stages being built are most likely the ones they flew in for the ACF.

We have the black medium Max 95% built: mainly waiting for a rear axle...

You have to test ride both and hen decide.

The 110 29 will cover ground and pedal faster. The 120 650B will be more fun in corners.

This is as good an answer as you're going to get. But its hard to argue against orange, yes!

I would not be able to sit still.

:) Good thing photography is electronic today, otherwise there would not be enough film at hand for all the photos to be taken.

Some of you will know I am the insanely lucky winner of the best African bike, the Pyga Stage. I promised to post some pics here when I take delivery.

The bike just arrived at The Trailhead. Here's a taste of things to come:
