How do the drop bars affect your position on the bike and the handling?

No idea, can only imagine it will be tricky and take some time getting used to. Must get me a shorter stem 70mm or less to help with the brake lever reach and then obviously drop bars with min reach.

I've got a 2009 Mongoose Meteore Elite ali frame (26") ...

Got most components sorted in my mind except for the fork....

Anyone got suggestions for the fork?
