anybody know if you can get cool riding stuff from tailand????

Driveline cranks and hygia brakes. Got a few cranks and they're not bad. No personal experience with the brakes tho, but have a mate who says they weren't bad.

I have the hygia brakes on my single speed. Quite good actually. Spares are an issue though, as I've been struggling to get the rear brake repaired.

Something like that...

Even a fake Dogma frame would sell for $500 plus. I don't get these super cheap ones.

Are they fake fakes?

Yep, fibreglass and paint, very little carbon fibre.

So, ive finally manned up and pulled the trigger!

After much emailing, calculations, and pouring over different shape frames, I finally settled on a Flyxii fr 322. Seems the frame looks most similar to the Scott cr1, but fork looks like a foil... If anyone knows better, let me know!

I must say, Flyxii have been awesome. This pricing includes shipping (so no extra costs there), they advertise the stock they have, and delivery times promised are the shortest I could find, 7-21 days. They were even so helpful as to accommodate me changing my mind after payment, when I realised matt would be far cooler than glossy!

So now we play the waiting game... Super excited to play and see the final design!

Congrats, once you have your tracking number, give it a day or two, then you can international track here http://www.17track.net/index_en.shtml

then when you know it has arrived in the country, you can track it here http://www.parceltrack.co.za/ just enter your international tracking number and will give you the local tracking number (ends in ZA), after that you can follow it with your local tracking number

Thanks, really appreciated!

I must explain my choice, too!

I first wanted a fake pina.... It looks good and would have stayed blank, but can't be more that 10% different feel to the real thing, so why not? Unfortunately, the cycle science issue took place and didn't feel like being involved in any way, sharp or form, even though the pina copy was the cheapest road frame!

The next choice was a fm098, which I was loving, but the more and more i looked at a spez venge, the more I disliked it. Fears were confirmed when the shipping costs worked out ridiculously! Almost as much as the frame, from Dengfu...

So I settled on the fr322, as the specs will fit everything on my current frame, so I don't have to change anything.

So my frame will run ultegra, with 3t bars and 3t carbon post, spez romin carbon saddle, and for racing, mavic cosmic deep sections... Have a super sweet, and as far as I know, very original decal scheme planned!

Will post pics and feedback ASAP!

Hi guys…can we have a quick vote with very short description between these 2 frames:

Hongfu - FM139

Dengfu - FM098

Just vote and post a very short reply to satisfy your answer… please only guys that actually have them and have ridden them already. I know shipping from dengfu is too high but i just need yes or no on them regarding ride + build quality etc.

Lets see...

dont know if you know anything,

I felt a momsem frame yesterday, close to the bottle cage on the downtube, you could actually press with your thumb and almost see the frame give a bit. this bike was superliite.

I'll be a bit worried that it may break at any givin moment.

Most if not all of these lightweight frames are "squishy" in some areas of the frame. They have to somewhere cut weight.

I have to say that I still have to come across a china frame that is as "squishy" as some of the brand name frames. In general most of these Chinese frames is a shade heavier than its brand name counter parts due to the fact that they are in fact a bit over engineered and have a bit more carbon layers in the areas that matter.

By saying that I don't say buy from any supplier. Still do your research and make calculated decisions regarding your supplier and frame. :)

New CX Bikepost-2565-0-48185800-1397634875_thumb.jpg i have just finished building.

Deng Fu Frame - CX Specific plus stem

Black Spade Carbon 29er rims.

So this has lots of Chinese Carbon on it.

All naked.

This rides like a dream and i am very happy. The frame is well designed and looks very well made. I cannot say for certain about reliability yet, but i think it is a great bike and i am very happy.

WRT another string and the fake pinarellos and having them painted, a mate sent me this link - www.oem-carbon.com

They look like they have everything and anything the heart could desire in factory colour schemes.

A while ago for those of you who remember, I posted some frames on behalf of someone i knew. Now completely oblivious to the fact that these were ALL fake, i didnt advertise it that way cause i waasnt aware of this. Later, after receiving some nasty replies I took the ad off and moved on. But then i thought, those frames looked damn nice! and so did the wheels, i wouldnt mind paying 5000 for a frame as sexy as those BMC frames! or those zipp wheels! but if there was a second hand madone 6.9 frame for 5000 that would be my 1st choice!
