Imo. So far the best looking (and probably designed) of these convertible lids is the Leatt.

Hopefully that Fox is the start of a convertible Enduro lid. But 5k? REALLLLLLLY?????? I had one in my hands the other day and I don't see 5k.

Couldn't agree more on your first point!

I have not seen the Fox first hand.

I have been using the Bell for ages.

I have had a look at the Catlike and tried it on.

I have spent some time looking at the Leatt and tried it on a bunch of times (was not allowed to ride in it unfortunately).

Leatt takes the cake no question about it!

As far as pricing goes, they all seem to be closely priced.

You called Afriski a Mini Morzine so your opinion is not valid!

spelt CHINBAR, pronounced FLEXY   ^_^

They're added protection for trail riders...not aimed at the downhill crowd. Best thing since dropper seats IMO. Are you aware of any severe failures? I'd hazard a guess that there's more evidence of the opposite where it prevented serious injury.

Spotted one at Jonkershoek recently.  Took a picture:

I like it. Looks like its part of some eccentric costume nobody would actually wear.

Push a button and the whole thing just folds up into your backpack

You ride Road bikes and wear lycra, and you attempt to discredit me?
