Lol, just don't make eye contact (actually don't make any contact of any sort)

hahaha! yeah, the "banana rule" totally applied.

ie. don't make eye contact with ANYONE while you're eating a banana... likewise, just stare at the wall while you're showering at Jolivet.

I was lucky enough to find a corner shower and minded my own business. Some of those dudes using the doorway/threshold showers were very comfortable with the situation.

yup! I had to overcome some public nudity fears... very quickly!

I was so bloody cold and miserable after a very long, wet, muddy day 2 that I just wanted to stand under that wonderfully hot shower, it didn't really register that there were other people somewhere in the steam clouds.......it saved my life and my humour.

NORMALLY THE GUYS PACKING W.M.D

Did the Fast One some years back when it was raining and there were some dudes who had white foam all around their bums  Reckon it was from cream they were using. Did not smack the idea of riding behind them as it looked like some kind of pest and the foam would from time to time come flying past :nuke:

Those showers at Jolivet are not cool, fortunately both times that Ive had to have a scrub in there Ive had a corner where I can mind my own business but then, from that corner you have to pass the okes to get out!

Some okes are just too comfortable in there, me.... not so much

I always used Chamois Butt'r or Assos. Great products. But then fellow hubbers mentioned milking cream.

At our co op they have one that is in a yellow tub, I cant remember the name. It is thick like gorilla snot.

Smeer you bum with that and you are sorted.

Smells very lekker too.

And at the price, you can apply liberally!

Never leave home without it! A word of advice, dont apply to vigorously, you finger may slip, you could then possibly breach the nought, a surprise of note, so a friend told me :whistling:

lag ek nou lekker

I have also found the brand is quite important. I have used Assos and FIT - Assos is frikkin' expensive, but much better. It seems to have more anti-bacterial/disinfectant properties than FIT.
