got the sub 3's argus as well & to me that was more of an achievement than to complete 21 (i skipped a few in the teens becos i wasn't lus for sitting in the start pens at 4.45am) so now i do it for the fun. imho i'm in the club BUT they must design a new cycling jersey if they want ME to buy it.

 

 

 

Congratulations on completing your 21st Cycle Tour earlier this year, and on behalf of all our existing members, I welcome you to CLUB 21.

 

Well done on your fine achievement and thank you for waiting patiently for this correspondence. Your passion for cycling, makes what we do, worthwhile!

 

Find attached documents regarding your CLUB 21 Life Membership status for your attention. Kindly read these carefully and save them for future reference! Where required, kindly complete and return by the closing date as indicated please.

 

 

Here are pointers to assist you, in your interaction with CLUB 21:

 

- The WELCOMING LETTER explains in detail what you need to know.

 

- The FAQ’s, helps you to understand what happens next.

 

- For Saving your Documents, please use the same File Names as supplied.

 

- When opening the APPAREL ORDER FORM, you may have to click on the “ENABLE EDITING” button first at the top of your screen, in order to make your choices.

 

- Once the Apparel Order Form is open, use your UP & Down arrows to move between the YELLOW blocks. Then CLICK on the block to expose the Drop-Down menus. Here you can click on your selected Size and Quantity.

 

- You will notice that the “Amounts” Columns & “Totals” Blocks will automatically be calculated for you!

 

- Based on our experience, when choosing your size, the Guys generally need to upsize on their BLUE CLUB 21 JERSEY by a size. i.e. if you normally wear a LARGE, rather order an XTRA LARGE, etc. However, the Ladies seem to get theirs right! Look out for the prompt text boxes to help you. This year, we have included in a Size Chart to assist you in choosing correctly.

 

- In the event should you ordered apparel not fit, we do make extra units for size-swopping, should you need to up or down size.

 

- Please use your “CLUB 21 Membership Number & Name” as your Reference Number on your EFT POP (Electronic Funds Transfer Proof of Payment). It helps us when sorting & matched your payment.

 

- Where possible, kindly submit electronic copies of all your documentation. If not, then print out, fill in by hand and fax to the Fax2eMail Number provided. Alternatively, post a copy to the Postal Address as given, together with your cheque or over-the-counter deposit slip. Please note, that “no cash in the post” is accepted.

 

- Finally, if anything is unclear and/or if you have any questions, then you are welcome to send an e-mail for my attention.

 

 

CLUB 21 looks forward to meeting you next year at the 37th Cycle Tour and more importantly, on the eve of your 22nd ride! Why give up something you really enjoy? And, remember to keep those wheels spinning for many more years to come!

3:30 on the dot last year... pushing to knock off that extra 30.

 

That will involve dropping 10kgs and the getting the right kms in the tank x speed. Not to mention a decent group and a much earlier wake up to make sure I don't arrive 2hrs before kick off only to be shoehorned into the back of the holding pen.

Yup, even after getting confirmation SMS from my bank their system reckons it failed.

I have tried 5 times using 4 separate credit cards and no luck. Now I am 6 506 in queue ... :cursing:

And what BS is this not being able to do and EFT or used a dedit card!! I DONT HAVE A CC!!!!! but i can send a cheque or postal order via snail mail?? talk about making it difficult!!!

I'll wait for the queue to disappear and then try again. I don't do queues, not at the Post Office, not online for the Argus. They should come up with a seeding system for entries.......oh wait......that's what the VIP entries were all about. ;)

What a joke.

Can't make payment. Can't hold onto place in the system to go back and COMPLETE payment. Nice one Nedbank/VCS or whoever it is who stuffed this up.

if I log out now will it keep my entry for a certain time or will I have to wait in the queue again and redo all my details?

No. You are automatically kicked off the system so you go back to the beginning. But don't bother yet:
