bleedToWin Posted February 16, 2018 Posted February 16, 2018 I've never (yet!) ridden a track bike- why is it tough? Is it more tough compared to a road or mountain bike?As splat says, no free-wheel means any kind of hop or jump becomes incredibly complicated.

No brakes, no gears, no freewheel and clips in. If you want to start slowing down you have to stop putting effort into pedaling.
