Since I'm not from there, it was a pretty simple question about the current state of the road surface considering the stories I hear about JHB these days.

But don't worry, I already got my answer from Too Tall.

I wouldn't stress too much tombeej

Think that's the best answer

For every *** section there is a good one - for instance, the new tar surface laid down in Jan Smuts from the zoo through Saxonwold to Dunkeld. Thats one of my favorite sections.

Now with added vooma

Where you really need to be on the look out is hurtling down Joe Slovo through Yeoville dodging pedestrians taking chances to get to the other side, as well as the other side of Ponte going down into Doornfontein..

The worst sections of tar are Homestead Avenue in Bryanston all the way past to golf course to Bryanpark and where you turn right onto Malibongwe. The Lion Park section is not too bad but the road is narrow and the shoulders broken in places.

On my way to riversands to pick up race packs for the kiddies ride... Traffic on William Nicol is crazy. Hope they sort this out before next Sunday.

Its Thursday guys, not FRIDAY.

Give Tombeej a break, if we need answers about road conditions etc for the Tour Druban or Amashova, Tombeej is always the first to offer up advice

He could always tune in to Mix 93.8 fm today at 12:30 where I will talk about road surface , punktjers and tapering down

Seems like every person crossing in front of you is dragging a child or three bags of grocery shopping behind them. This is the only bit of the ride that actually makes me nervous, 'cos I do manage to get a fair speed up here.
