Mojoman Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 My friend had a short contract with the Post Office to service their little motorbikes, the state of those things was shocking! Ripped seats, buckled wheels, brakes down to the metal, chains neglected, sticky throttles, borken mirrors! I think it would be worse for the guys to have geared bikes as evidently when things dont work you still have to use them as the Post Office seems too tight to foot the bill for general running repairs....

More important than gears I think - WHY are they not issued high-viz/reflective gear? $$$ I bet as well, but that's not an acceptable excuse. I passed one today in the rain wearing the usual dark blue raincoat. If not for the (dull) red of the bike he'd have been invisible. Hairy 1
