And me, I have them on my hardtail and commuter mtb. But don't work with risers / swept back imo.

I cringe to think of losing R30-R40k's value on a bike in a week.

It's nuts, if you're patient and smart you can build up a pretty nice trail weapon with that kind of money.

Lets just say that a 100k bike is not primarily aimed at someone that will cringe at the thought of losing 30-40k.

Well, yes and no. I guess "primarily" is the operative word here...

Even though I can afford to ride one, I still cringe!

I take it then that you are not our president, or even a politician of any kind :D

Not that a S-strike is to mtb what a P1 is too the supercar. No comparison really it breaks down way too often but theres no shortage of willing participants to belong to that flock of sheep. A P1 speaks for itself, all out performance car, finances no restriction. an S-strike is closer to 911GT-3. lOts of them about, all driven by people who don;t know how to drive and they break down often (or burst into flame - make sure you get yours with oven gloves)

Gimme a Morewood, PYGA or Momsen for the Epic anyday.

if we had a rand donated for every time GoLefty bashed spaz then the hub could have picked up the nkandla tab by now.

cool stats,I'm guessing the value figures aren't inflation adjusted.

About thirty percent of bikes are "other ",would be interesting to see the wheel size stats for sa riders only
