Similar story to my versys, I love it... but now I want a 1200... i commute 50km one way and would prefer not to be ringing my versys all the way!

well thats my excuse..

Same with my dakkie. it is a low rev torque monster. It rides the same even with an extra 50 kg on. All this is nice, but it does not sound or feel great at highway speeds

Very pretty but it's still topped by the CBX. Imo of course.

Actually, as I type this, I'm looking at your picture again and again and it just keeps getting better.

Lol, I did my licence on a CBX1000.

Indeed it sounds nice. They are getting a MT07 tracer tomorrow. But I would rather buy the 09 tracer.

That MT09 engine is one of best engines I have used. I rode the regular MT 09 around Kyalami a few years back at the Bike Festival. Dream engine, great sound, great performance from that tripple.

Another for my garage ha ha! That thing would be a hoot on Outeniqua Pass............errr, so would the Tracer really.

Would like to give one a go sometime. I'm seriously considering buying a big naked in a couple of years and the MT09 vs the GSX-S are currently on my short list.

Do whatever you can to try the MT09. Highly recommended.

After going to a bike shop here, PH motorcycles in Crawley who are agents for every brand pretty much, I looked at the monster 797, the cb650r , MT07 , duke 790, sv650x and gsxs750 it struck me just how small the bikes are. Biggest of the lot is he suzook gsx and being nearly 6 foot 4 I dwarf the others.

Really wanted an old school monster like the 797 but I look silly on it. Chicks don’t dig silly.

So on Friday I walked past a MT07 I saw a lone glove on the seat, so I took this with me and left a note with my details for the rider to call me.

Lunchtime I get the call and go out to meet the rider and have a chat. He has been on his MT07 for a while now and only had really good things to say about the bike ... was a nice guy to chat to.

Been looking at the MT07’s with a longing eye now since seeing and hearing that first red one from earlier in the week!

To top it off I dropped the bike this morning like an asshole... in my driveway!

Cant even tell you what happened... the neighbours dogs had a laugh at least!

Hope the bike is okay.

About ten years ago, on my wedding anniversary I had stopped to buy flowers for the missus. As I just had 1 km to ride to get home, I stuck them in my backpack thinking to ride real slowly........

So, about to back out the parking , both feet down and the flowers fall over to one side, okay, no stress, flick the stand down and lean to the left, but...........stand not over centre, bike keeps going, flowers fall under bike. Slight incline, bike slid a few cms, but enough to damage the fairing.

Missus presented with damaged flowers, man she was upset about the bike!

I'm not big but big-ish and my SRAD 750 is a comfortable fit, not sure how big newer 750 models are but I sat on BMW s1000r recently, the naked model, and that felt really good, not a beemer fan though.

To be honest I've been considering converting my SRAD back to streetfighter as I had it a few years back before buying a donor bike to restore it but the wife says NO it has to go![emoji53]ac959632fb82f3cf8cafc7b9cea62bcf.jpg
