Thanks man ... but that is a little too Harley for me :P

I am another step closer though .... have my learners test booked  ... was not going to say anything here for incase I fail the theory exam to get my learners ... but I am excited and need to share

Awesome man. My wife is going for license end of May.

We met an older gentleman on the training course near us, he mentioned how strange it felt to be the old toppie going for his learners. The younger girls called my wife "tannie", it was quite funny to hear!!

On that note, she found an app where you could learners tests. Can ask her about it if you want.

Probably this one: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.test.k53motorcycletestsouthafrica&hl=en_ZA&gl=US

I also have some of the older paper based tests if you want to read through them and see what type of questions they asked. The new process is quite slick - do test, hit button pass or fail.

The thing that helped me the most, just the general k53 book that you buy from CNA for I think R60 or something. Study that thing, and maybe read through the questions once to see what type of BS questions they ask, then study some more.

A lot of people will probably tell you that the practical test is hard, it really isn't. So don't psych yourself up too much for it.

Hi Steven, yes please to the app!

Hairy, like I said, I clearly don't get it. I thought you would drool over it.

Steven: I kow how your wife feels. I was in a pub in London - 20 years ago -watching the Bokke and a guy stepped back onto my foot. "'Skuus Oom". Man, it upset me. Haha.

A lot of guys look me the full house type of Harley. Road King and the ultra and whatever. Me I like the stripped down version, hence the Wide Glide. While Hairy admits he does not like the Wide Glide, I suspect he also likes the stripped down or understated look if that makes sense?

Let me be clear ... I do not think I have shot down the Wide Glide, I think they are sexy too!

My one neighbour as a 2000 WG and whenever he starts up and leaves on the bike I have to pop open the blinds to sneak a peak at the bike.

Agreed RE the stripped down bikes.

Hairy,

I noticed you among Itchy's comments last night. I find the comments very interesting, especially those which say they have seen SA in a new light. Good stuff. By the way, I rode the pass she rode down into Heidelberg in the episode before this. Really beautiful and worth a trip. Gysmanshoek.

In the earlier episodes it was amazing to see the international viewers response to the SA landscape ... most were expecting a barren wilderness and not the amazing landscapes we do have.

Personally I want to explore and travel up country based on her rides from this SA trip!
