Thanks

Fully adjustable Showa forks

Fully adjustable Ohlins shocks.

Got my work cut-out setting up the suspension coming from a Rigid SS.  :)

Suspension is a dark art…

My RF600 I recently mucked around with it. Read the manual and slowly worked through it on the front. Sort of made an improvement but I rarely bother the chicken strips these days…

being a lard ass I normally just stiffen the rear and off I go. All these new fangled suspensions are a waste on me.

My second gamma was giving me uphill. Misfiring on the right hand cylinder and sometimes not firing at all. Check the plug and clean/reset and make sure it works and it does. No luck. Strip bike check all electrical elements spray muti and clean/check coil and all works. After a lil frustration I insert new plug…and bobs yr aunty..in hindsight should have done that first but did not have a spare BR9ES so went down rabbit holes. Dud plug is something I have very little experience with,

these old 2smokes are lekker to ride but they are temperamental and prone to funny things.

Glance at that Youtube oke; Dave Moss Tuning (I know there are hundreds - he is a suspension guy), I also follow the bike handbook but he's quite good, seems to me.

A couple of more photos:

Extras that have already been added or changed on the bike are:

- rear fender elimination kit (I do have the original rear fender)

- Sump guard

- Flyscreen'

- Indicator lenses changed to white

Items planned are:

- Cat delete and fitting of an X-Pipe

- Double seat and rear passenger pegs

- Cone Engineering shorty slip-on exhausts.

Also seriously thinking of changing the colour to either Competition Green or Diablo Red.

Was looking through the papers I received with the bike last night and came across an invoice for a radiator guard.

S'true as Bob, I have an aluminium radiator guard. One less item to purchase!

Just placed an order for the following from the UK:

- Union Jack points cover

- Union Jack throttle body covers

- Union Jack clutch badge.

Lets see if they arrive before Christmas.

Used to be called the Points cover on the vintage Meriden Triumphs but now known as the ACG.

What ACG stands for (in relation to Triumph), I have no idea.
