DJR Posted August 31, 2018 Posted August 31, 2018 Kicking this with your barefoot on a cold Saturday morning. ar.jpgOnce played against Sutherland when the field was covered in a thin layer of snow. Beforehand someone dragged a stick in the snow, more or less to show where the lines were......and we just played. I remember all kinds of things from that day, but, strangely, not that it was cold!
DJR Posted August 31, 2018 Posted August 31, 2018 (edited) Sometimes the Karoo fields were a bit rough. This one was at a little Town called Merweville, but hey, in a good year, nobody dared cutting off the veld flowers! That would be tempting the water gods to send another drought. Edit: That's us around a goal post. Edited August 31, 2018 by DJR Sepia, Sidersky, Blokman and 3 others 6

Patchelicious Posted August 31, 2018 Posted August 31, 2018 (edited) Colour photos. I thought you were much older.... Digitally remastered! Amazing what today’s technology can do. But you can see from the clothing style that it was clearly taken in early 1950s Edited September 1, 2018 by Patchelicious DJR and fanievb 2
kosmonooit Posted August 31, 2018 Posted August 31, 2018 (edited) Aah what a life growing up in a sexually repressed society... Who remembers their first porn movie? back in the daze when that was jail time. There was this lady who worked at the hardware shop in the local mall who was a covert source of 8mm porn films, that she was more than happy to share with teenage boys (nudge nudge wink wink). I borrowed my dad's projector and a few holiday film productions to 'show my friends' at a friends house who's parents had gone out. Of course we invited girls in the hope that it would turn out in an orgy but no such luck in that day and age of the forbidden yet desperately desired fruits.
