Anyone else remember this? I used to love it, would sometimes eat it straight out of the can: Ocean Fresh Curried Fish.

Used to have that on toast, delicious.

Snacked on a packet of those in my car travelling to a meeting once. Needless to say the meeting was short and we did not get the tender.

who remembers a time when you could go cycling on your own in the middle of nowhere and feel perfectly safe.... sadly those days seem a distance memory

and who remembers when you could go cycling and not be stopped by traffic lights for ages

I remember in standard 6 and 7, one of my mates and I used to ride all over the place after school and on weekends. No worry if we were going to be bike jacked, and of course there was a lot less traffic in those days.

I lose Hot91.9 and MixFM as I turn onto Hendrik Portgieter towards home every aftyernoon, so i change over to LM Radio on 702AM.  They have an SA Band hour after 7.  Who remembers these guys.....

Noticed one of those " parking attendants " with a MOONBAG. I remember having a classy? leather one. Fortunately the Tande Muis must have carried it away some dark and misty night.

Lot of history attached to the song "Master Jack"

Glenys Lynn, from Four Jacks and a Jill once said: “In certain mines the foreman is called ‘Master Jack’, and the song tells the story of a labourer who works diligently for this master for years and years and then decides to go out on his own and exercise his desires and aspirations as an individual to be something other than a labourer”.

Another thought was "Jack" referred to Britain and the "Union Jack" and SA declaring its independence.
