Wannabe Posted January 16, 2015 Share One of the best bikes I have ever ridden was my 26" XTC2. Built up with all sorts of custom goodies. My brother eventually bought it, and even now when he takes it in for a service the guys are impressed with the weight..... Mine was also build up with a lot of 2nd hand parts. Nothing on it was bought new except for Lock On Grips, Chain, Cassette and tyres. Even the Frame was bought 2nd hand. Had quite a decent spec on it. Wheels was custom build for a friend (120kg block of a man). XT hubs, Sapim Spokes on DT Swiss rim. X0 Twistgrips, X0 RD, X9 FD, SLX Crankset. Avid Elixer R brakes, 180mm upfront, 160mm rear. Fizik Tundra Saddle. Quite enjoyed riding her. Most of the parts has been build over onto the 29'er now, so I still have the wheels, frame, seatpost and brakeset at home (AND FOR SALE!!)
