Post race clean up up or not it's not a big deal putting the empty wrapper back in your pocket or trying to throw the bottles out in designated trash zones. The real impact on the environment is not really an issue I just don't enjoy the "toss it when you're done with it" approach in any race. TdF or not.This is a perfect example of a wonderful and very true alternate view that is perfectly acceptable and can be debated constructively. Edit: the reason I say this is because it goes against our social norm/convention and it is SUPPOSED to piss us off when somebody breaks the norm/convention. Its evolution, we are programmed to not like it.
